Have you ever attended an awards ceremony where everyone really did deserve a trophy? This past weekend some of the finest servant leaders and I hosted a breakfast which celebrated the accomplishments. During this event, we also revealed the significant influence the recipients have globally, locally, and personally.
Part of establishing your value in negotiating is understanding what you and others add to the equation.
❓What is the most rewarding role you’ve played?
❓Where have you made the biggest difference?
❓What did you do to celebrate?
Some of the best servant leaders I know spent a wonderful Saturday morning celebrating Texas Tech University’s finest at the TEXAS TECH PARENTS ASSOCIATION FACULTY, STAFF, and STUDENT LEADERS AWARDS BREAKFAST.
It was a privilege sharing how professors and staff impact our students. Having Texas Tech’s President Lawrence Schovanec and Provost Ronald Hendrick in attendance with college deans and campus representatives added to the importance.
Thank you Debbie Guerra for spearheading our new TTPA Staff Recognition.
Each year, we love hearing from each college’s outstanding students and learning about their journey and those who helped guide them.
Here’s a preview of the pictures with many more to come from our photographer Savanna Montgomery.
Thank you to our incredible board including @Oscar Gonzales, Heather Nieporte, Tracie Henderson, Gayle Runnels Pierce, Anna Peters, Rob Denman, Jamie Hansard and our Parent Ambassadors and our staff for your hard work supporting Red Raider Families.
Thank you to all our #TTU partners and our sponsors for making these opportunities possible. You help us serve our more than 6200 Red Raider family members!
Such a fun event and my last as president of #TTPA. New officers are ready to lead the board forward.
