This month has been full of celebrations. None more deserving than yesterday’s recognition by Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus of Maura Gast of Visit Irving.
I had the privilege of speaking for the Women in Tourism through the Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus and we are discussing negotiating for leaders so I was there to celebrate with Maura!
Maura is a legend in the tourism and hospitality industry not only for her knowledge and results but for her support of others. Her team, and my friends, were on hand to celebrate her success. (Maura suggested me for this conference, too.)
Sometimes organizations appreciate the perfect person.
