Negotiating a New Year with a New Role

Today is my second week of teaching at Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. I’m a professor of practice which means no research requirement. I teach two classes of graduate students and one class of undergraduates in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution.

UTD offers great students, colleagues, and a fabulous campus. My classes are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons which is perfect for my speaking and consulting clients.

Best is that I get to work with my friends Denise Cason, MBA, Sheila Wilk Rosenberg, J.D. Thomas and my new friend Maria Hasenhuttl. (BTW-LinkedIn does work. Maria and I originally connected through LI.)
I’m told that fellow College of Media & Communication, Texas Tech University Grad Kent Best is here, too but haven’t seen him yet.

❓Are you a UT Dallas Alumni? (I know Michelle Adams is.)
❓Have you taught at UTD? Years ago, I taught through the Executive Education Department.
❓What’s your favorite memory of a college professor?

It will take me a while to obtain enough UT Dallas swag to compete with my Red Raider gear, but I’m working on it!
